Mike and I have been in Spokane since Tuesday and we are ready to be done with the snow. The newspapers told this morning that Spokane is experiencing record levels of snow. Each day we have been here they have accumulated 2-5 more inches. It never seems to stop!!!
We had a great Christmas with Mike's family. We got up at 6:00 on Christmas morning and headed over as we knew the kids would be anxious. Needless to say, by the time we got there we were both ready to just go home. Over night it had continued to snow and my Grand Am just doesn't like to cooperate. We ended up getting stuck twice on the way to his parents. The last time, Mike's brother and brother-in-law had to come and push us out. What a way to start the day!!! After that we had a fun filled relaxing day with family.
Today will be our last day here in Spokane. We plan to spend most of it with his family. Tomorrow we will head to Ritzville to do Christmas with my family.
As you can tell this is my first time creating one of these blogs. I will try my best to keep it up to date and please bear with me. I hope you all had Merry Christmas and are staying warm.
Great job, Aimee. This is a fun way to stay in touch with family and friends. Hope you got out of Spokane. We are ready for the snow to be gone also

Where are you? I can't see anything but snow. Crazy. Love the blog! You have inspired me to update mine. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
ReplyDeleteI have been wondering how to do a blog, now you an shoe me! We have lots of snow too but is melting this am. I am bummed as it was so pretty with the trees covered in snow and the Christmas lights on. Our roads are fine so haven't had any trouble getting around although your Dad says that is because of the AWD. Hope we have snow left for our Christmas and can go out and sled some.
ReplyDeleteMike and Aimee, we had a wonderful Christmas, didn't we? You missed the snow, we had another 12 inches when you left, awww you missed it, HAHAHA. We are sopposed to get another 10 inches by the New Year. See you when it melts, Mom and Dad
